Chocolate Oatmeal

I really love porridge and I like to try flavoring my porridge with different ingredients. Here's a recipe for a slightly more luxurious breakfast porridge; chocolate porridge!


Chocolate Oatmeal (for one):

40 g oats

200 ml water

1 tablespoon of cocoa powder

A pinch of salt


Toppings (optional):

Banana

Chocolate sauce

Cocoa nibs


Instructions:

  1. Bring the oatmeal, water, cocoa and salt to the boil.

  2. Cook over low heat for a couple of minutes. Stir occasionally.

  3. Pour the oatmeal into a bowl and top with any toppings you like.
