Overnight Oats with Banana

A simple and quick breakfast that you prepare the night before. Overnight oats is a cold porridge that you don't need to cook. Just mix it all up and leave it in the fridge during the night. In this recipe I've flavored it with banana.


For one person:

40 g oats

15 g shredded coconut

1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)

1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

100 ml fluid (for example milk or yoghurt)

1/2 mashed banana


Topping:

Strawberries

Sliced banana


Instructions:

  1. Mix the oats, coconut, chia seeds and vanilla powder. Add the liquid and the mashed banana and mix together into a "batter".

  2. Pour into a glass or bowl and if necessary cover.

  3. Place in the fridge overnight or at least 4 hours.

  4. When it's time for breakfast, top with strawberries and some sliced banana and eat it at home or on the go!
